Last week, the Digital Marketing Masters students were delighted to attend a guest lecture and hear from Dave Robinson, Managing Director at Red Evolution.
Red Evolution is a digital and inbound marketing agency with offices located in Aboyne, London and Newcastle. Dave founded Red Evolution in 2003 after working with Fifth Ring on a number of freelance projects. His genuine passion for what he does has enabled Dave to grow Red Evolution organically from a team of 1 to a strong team of 9. Learn more about Red Evolution here.
After a great introduction from Dave, we were invited to ask a series of questions. Our questions were focused on finding out why Dave started Red Evolution, his experience and any advice he had for digital marketing students entering the workplace. It was inspiring to hear how much Dave values his work and how he learns something new every day. His biggest piece of advice was to “do what you enjoy doing” and be mindful working for free – value what you know and charge for your time.
