Where are you from?
Aberdeen, Scotland.
What was your undergraduate degree?
BA (Hons) Business Management at Edinburgh Napier University.
Why did you decide to study an MSc in Digital Marketing?
During my undergraduate degree, I tended to choose marketing-related modules. These modules included International Marketing, Marketing Ethics and Brand Management. However, these modules typically revolved around traditional marketing. After speaking to a previous graduate from this course, and hearing how much she enjoyed it I decided that this was the course I wanted to pursue.
What do you like best about the course so far?
Learning about the social media aspects of digital marketing and how to utilise Search Engine Optimisation. I have also really liked being able to speak to several marketing industry experts about each topic we do. As a result, we are able to ask questions about real-life examples which has been very insightful.
What’s your favourite app or website, and why?
My favourite website has to be Pinterest. Pinterest is a social media platform that allows you to share photos, videos and tips, and tricks. You are able to create your own boards where you can pin posts so you can save them forever. I normally use it for recipes and makeup/fashion inspiration.
