Where are you from?
What was your undergraduate degree?
Communication with Public Relations (BA hons) at Robert Gordon University
Why did you decide to study an MSc in Digital Marketing?
My undergraduate degree peaked my interests in digital marketing and online PR. After university I spent a year working as a Business Analyst at Barclays where I developed new interests in analytics and problem solving. I wanted to find a career where I would be able to combine my passions. The MSc Digital Marketing course was an ideal place to start.
What do you like best about the course so far?
I like that we are being taught a broad range of tools and skills which are used in the industry. I feel this is giving us more opportunity to find where our interests lie and also where we may like to direct our future careers. Another aspect which I really enjoy is that we are working with real clients. I find it helps to understand the tools and processes when it can be applied to a situation and provide context.
What’s your favourite app or website, and why?
Snapchat – I think it’s a great way to keep in touch with your friends and it’s one of the more private forms of social media. I also like the featured section with company profiles. It is a good way to get snippets of information as well as keep up to date on new trends and current affairs.
