BA (Hons) Marketing with an additional focus on Business Management.
Why did you decide to study an MSc in Digital Marketing?
After graduating in 2007, I moved to Seoul in South Korea where I taught English as both a first and second language. I returned to Scotland in 2011 and helped my uncle set up a website and then proceeded in setting up my own e-commerce business. While doing this I discovered that marketing had moved on leaps and bounds since I graduated. I decided to join the MSc Digital Marketing course as a means to get a greater insight into the modern world of marketing and the skills needed to be successful in this new fast paced digital industry.
What’s your favourite app or website, and why?
My favourite app is probably Sound Hound. I am a big fan of music but not necessarily a student of music. I have friends who memorise album and song names from different artists but I very rarely take the time to learn such information. Using Sound Hound allows me to get all the information I need with a simple press of a button. It also opens up a world of new music from artists I have never heard of before.
Tell us a random fact about yourself!
After graduating from university I lived, worked and travelled throughout Asia over a four-year period.
