Scotland’s first BA (Hons) Digital Marketing course – Out with the old and in with the RGyoU

RGU are offering a brand new course – BA (Hons) Digital Marketing. They are the first university running this course in Scotland. If you are interested in all things digital, this is the course for you.

What skills will I gain?

The BA (Hons) Digital Marketing course – the first in Scotland – aims to develop and deepen your knowledge of a variety of different skills. These include design, communication, content writing and strategy planning. The skills you will gain on this course will ultimately give you the confidence to be successful within a career in Digital Marketing.

What will I learn?

Get creative with the latest software and technology within digital marketing, including: DLSR cameras, a collection of iMacs and a variety of software such as Adobe and Final Cut Pro X to help you develop highly demanded photo and video editing skills. You will find yourself involved in real industry problems; creating simulated advertising campaigns with live clients in a fun and creative environment.

We are aware of the ever-changing environment within the digital world and always keep things up to date with our agency partners to provide the most benefit to you. Additionally, in year three you will have an opportunity to undertake a six or twelve-week placement where you can gain practical experience in an industry situation. This is a great addition to your CV to showcase your industry knowledge.
