Where are you from?
A little town called Forres in Scotland.
What was your undergraduate degree?
BA (Hons) International Tourism Management which I also studied at Robert Gordon University.
Why did you decide to study an MSc in Digital Marketing?
I pursued this course as I wanted to gain practical and technical skills which my undergrad did not provide. The course is very different as it isn’t theory-based, it is a lot more interactive and engaging. Thus, it would be a great learning challenge and experience for me. I believe Digital will become more important in the future and I am keen to increase my knowledge in this field.
What do you like best about the course so far?
The best part of the course for me so far is the opportunity to work closely with industry experts and live clients. Providing me with a great understanding of how the skills and knowledge we have learned in class can be applied in the workplace. I am also looking forward to the module which allows the class to run and generate content for The Digital Scot.
What’s your favourite app or website, and why?
My favourite website and app would have to be YouTube, it is always on my phone in the mornings when I get ready. I love to watch vloggers and other influencers who discuss product reviews and current trends. I also love watching interviews and trailers for upcoming movies. What I watch influences my decisions quite highly on what I want to buy and watch in the future.

I once had the pleasure of meeting Paul Hollywood from Great British Bake Off. I even have a photo of the special occasion. Coming from a family of bakers this was a big deal.
