Where are you from?
I am from Paris but I’ve also lived in Martinique in the French West Indies.
What was your undergraduate degree?
I read English Language, Literature and Civilisation at the Sorbonne Nouvelle University.
Why did you decide to study an MSc in Digital Marketing?
After completing my first degree, I studied towards a Master’s in journalism with a focus on writing for the press and radio but little online. Following graduation, I took on marketing roles in fundraising and transport. But it’s after a short spell in retail that I started to look for ways to build on my digital skills in my quest for an exciting career. When, I heard of RGU’s MSc in Digital Marketing I had just completed a short course in art and design there.
What do you like best about the course so far?
The course has shone a light on concepts barely touched on in my academic and professional career. Practice is at the heart of the course and most tasks and assignments revolve around real-life scenarios. We benefit from the support of digital practitioners, some of whom mentor us throughout the first term.
What’s your favourite app or website, and why?
WhatsApp is my favourite app at the moment because it enables me to keep my family and friends close and instantly share moments with them regardless of the distance between us.
