Where are you from?
What was your undergraduate degree?
BA (Hons) Contemporary Art Practice (Moving Image) / Robert Gordon University
Why did you decide to study an MSc in Digital Marketing?
Within my projects at art school, I focused on making my audience feel a certain emotion by looking at an image or a video/film. This turned into an interest in how advertisers and marketers use similar techniques across digital platforms to create successful digital marketing campaigns. I wanted to enhance my employability and the Digital Marketing MSc ticked all the boxes.
What do you like best about the course so far?
The best part of the course so far has been learning not just from the lecturers, but my classmates as well. Everyone has come from such diverse academic and professional backgrounds, so the class in just a melting pot of knowledge and insight. This really helps with group work and creating a network of contacts for the future.
What’s your favourite app or website, and why?
App-wise it has to be Instagram – it’s great for getting creative inspiration for visuals as well as being a strong tool for social media marketing for certain companies. Website-wise I’d say www.27bslash6.com. If you want hours of entertainment reading a sassy graphic designer’s emails to clients, this website is for you.
