Why did you decide to study an MSc in Digital Marketing?
Throughout my undergraduate degree I found I was always more interested in the digital aspects of marketing but we only touched upon these briefly during the course and I was keen to learn more. This, combined with an ongoing personal interested in the internet, social media and blogging, and an internship with a digital marketing agency, made me certain that this was the career path I wished to go down.
What do you like best about the course so far?
So far the thing I have enjoyed most throughout the course was working with Steve Milne, from Fifth Ring in Aberdeen, to undertake a task for a live client where we were acting as an agency and were able to imitate agency life with our classmates to develop a marketing plan. These days were fast paced and exciting and provided a huge insight into agency life.
What’s your favourite app or website, and why?
I am social media obsessed, particularly visual social media platforms such as Instagram and Pinterest and spend much of my free time on these. I believe these appeal to me because I am interested in fashion and travel and visual apps lend themselves to sharing and viewing pictures related to these.

I first learnt I was a bit of a computer geek when I programmed a functioning version of Lemmings aged 15!
